Hurley House is an award-winning boutique hotel and events venue, featuring a Japanese and international restaurant, located in the village of Hurley, in Royal Berkshire, near Henley-on Thames, Maidenhead, Marlow and Reading. Our high specification boutique venue, opened in summer 2016. Sophisticated, yet relaxed, Hurley House offers the best of both worlds, a small boutique hotel which, in terms of look and feel, could easily be found in Mayfair, with a large Pavilion event space in a country setting. Our 10-bedroom hotel has been named 'Best Small and Exclusive Property in the UK' in the Cond Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence in 2025, 2021 & 2019. Our events venue has been awarded GOLD for 'Business Events Venue of the Year' in The Beautiful South Awards for Excellence in 2025 & 2024. Whether you have exclusive use of the whole house or just the Garden Pavilion, we can cater for weddings and special events for up to 160 seated guests. Our pavilion is a blank canvas, lending itself to a multitude of different event styles. Both the Garden Pavilion and Main House, are Licensed wedding venues. At Hurley House, we believe in simple food cooked to perfection, and impeccable service. Whether your preference is for a relaxed meal in the Bar or on the Terraces, dining in our stylish Restaurant, or witnessing an exclusive Japanese ritual in our Omakase Sushi Bar, we are confident you will have a wonderful dining experience. We also serve a Traditional and a Japanese Afternoon Tea, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons (15:30 to 17:30) Omakase dining is an exclusive experience. The Omakase Sushi Bar can seat up to 5 people in one sitting. Guests can be from different parties. The Omakase Sushi Bar is open for two evening sittings, at 18:30 and 20:30 on Fridays and Saturdays. Our restaurant has been rated 5-star Restaurant with Rooms by the AA, and awarded 2 AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence.
