Headed by one of the country's most recognised antiques faces, James Lewis, Bamfords enjoy a comfortable position being the parent company to Neales of Nottingham, est 1840, Richardson and Linnell, est 1899 and Noel Wheatcroft. Bamfords has employed 35 members of staff, including auctioneers and world renowned specialists. Hansons hold their auctions at their modern, showroom on Heage Lane, Etwall, Derbyshire. This impressive building comprises a large auction showroom, with catering on viewing and sale days. The room will seat 150 people, with ample car parking space. Throughout the year it is the venue for international auction sales of antique silver, jewellery, ceramics, glass, pictures, clocks and furniture, specialist collector's items, book, stamp and coin auctions plus the monthly antique and collectors auctions featuring Antiques and Decorative items from local estates. Hansons successfully serves both vendors and buyers with particular attention given to personal service.
