Matthew removed a window and created space for a new front door with side panels. All work was completed to a high quality and on time. What impressed me most was the time taken to ensure no damage was done to all parts of the house and driveway, and the fact that they always cleaned up before they left at the end of the day. I will definitely use Matthew again and would recommend him and his teams work to anyone.

Mathew done a natural indian sand stone patio in my own house and a few steps, this was to a very high standard. Mathew and the boys are very highley qualified trades men.

Bernie and his team were amazing, from start to finish, their experience was astounding, we had an 4m annexe and a 4m kitchen extension, Bernie fitted both kitchens too, we had a huge steel put in, he really is the best builder by far, we lived through it all too, he kept us up to date on all the build. Would definitely reccomend.

Darren has just completed a patio which has transformed a previously unused part of my garden. Daren and his assistant Gerwyn just completed a 2m high, 14.5m long garden party wall construction in double concrete block at my house in Blackwood. Having interviewed several builders, I knew within minutes of him measuring up the site and beginning to discuss our options that whatever his price, Darren would get the job. He is keen, fair and calculated on pricing and accurate in his estimating. He is open minded and willing to think about how best to achieve the optimum result that is what he and Gerwyn achieved. They are an excellent working team and I unhesitatingly recommend D J Hopkins building services. Darren is only interested in executing the best work. My advice is don't mess him around on price, he is completely trustworthy and don't look for the cheapest option, he is not the cheapest but he is the best because he is intelligent and skillful. He enjoys working with architects and I enjoyed working with him. Five stars...a breath of fresh air in the Valleys.

Darren has just completed our home and garden renovation works and we couldnt be happier. From pricing and through every stage of the work we couldnt be happier, his attention to detail and workmanship is second to none, and he genuinely gave us the impression throughout that he cares and treats your home as his own.
