We trade from three locations... We moved into our main store in 2015 - a beautiful converted Victorian military warehouse - now simply the largest cycle store in all of York and North Yorkshire. Because we come from York and we love trains, in 2011 we opened Cycle Heaven at the Station at York railway station. It's your city-centre cycling convenience store. Finally, back in our birthplace - on Bishopthorpe Road, we have retained our workshop in the rear of the old premises, now the popular bar and cafe The Angel on the Green. People typically think "What a funny name for a cycle shop!". Well, the reason for the name traces it's routes back beyond the shop first opened, originating from a nick-name of our now deceased original owner; "the ginger-haired boy who played out with wet hair". After many years of repairing cycles in his parents' kitchen, "Rusty" set up business in 1939, working right up to his death in 1982. It is run today by his daughter, Sandra, along with her trusty staff and Rustys Cycles, is the longest standing cycle shop in North Lincolnshire. Its a place for all things on two wheels.
