I am a professional photographer based in East London with over ample years of experience. I have studied in Fine Art and contemporary Photography and am particularly interested in portraiture, events and editorial photography. I enjoy working with people and am very keen on obtaining a contemporary, fresh look for my photographs, and I believe my gallery looks artistic. I believe every shoot must be enjoyable and fun so I tend to capture candid, natural shots in order to obtain creative results.

I am Dai Taylor, a Welshman, who has been resident in Central London since the 80's. With years of photographic experience I specialise in unique executive portraits, powerful headshots, striking PR images and dynamic event coverage. I work with Blue Chip and Boutique companies, Luxury Hotels and Exclusive Clubs, Picture and PR Agencies as well as Private Individuals. Understanding a clients requirements is paramount and I enjoy 100% positive feedback from them and a 5 star Rating from Google. My fascination with film began Christmas 1958 when my father bought me an Admira 8mm Cine Camera. I was out the door and making my first film front of the house even before the first signs of snow-laden light were penetrating the morning horizon and was utterly hooked. At the age of 16, I left school and was offered a job through the Evening Standard Classified as a messenger boy for a Wardour Street based Film Company. On my moped, I collected and delivered cans of film between clients and labs. This job was something I enjoyed, and I never looked back, until now. I have had a fascinating career in Film, TV, and working as a Cinematographer, and I have had the pleasure of working with such luminaries including, Nic Roeg, Gillies Mackinnon, Ken Loach, Tim Burton, James Ivory, Jane Campion, Antonia Bird, and Woody Harrelson to name but a few. Working with these cuminaries truly was an incredible experience, and I consider myself very fortunate to have had the privilege. Lensing has always been my passion, and I have always carried a camera wherever I have been. For me, photography has always been a visual gateway, a way of reporting and documenting what I see and how I see. Now, I am concentrating my view on the world of stills and wrapping my eyes around the digital mind space one frame at a time.
